WorldWater Corp. Ships Additional $1.75 Million Of Solar Equipment To Cerro Coso College Project

PENNINGTON, N.J., May 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- WorldWater Corporation (OTCBB:WWAT) announced today that it is shipping an additional $1.75 million of equipment to the Cerro Coso Community College solar project jobsite in Ridgecrest, CA, the largest PV installation on any U.S. community college campus. The current shipments supplement earlier shipments in March and April, when the company shipped $1 million and $1.3 million, respectively, in supplies to the site for the one-megawatt project. WorldWater is the exclusive PV supplier for the college and its prime contractor, Contra Costa Electric, Inc. of Bakersfield, CA.

"We'll be sending a truckload of solar equipment every day during the last week of May," reports WorldWater Chairman and CEO Quentin T. Kelly, commenting on the magnitude of the project.

Implementation of the full $8.9 million contract by Contra Costa will supply the college with Sharp Electronics solar modules as well as inverters and distribution equipment, reducing the school's overall energy consumption while supplying 50-60% of its total electricity. Construction, which began in February of this year, is scheduled for completion in June 2004. Work-in-progress photos may be accessed via the WorldWater website at www.worldwater.com.
