Nomadix Expands its Relationship with Red.es to Deliver High-Speed Internet Access Solutions to Government Organizations in Spain

Partnership Additionally Enables Free Internet Access to the Public in Rural Areas


WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., June 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nomadix, Inc. (www.nomadix.com), a leading supplier of Public-access solutions, today announced that the company, along with Red.es, will provide high-speed Internet access to more than 1,500 government organizations throughout Spain. Additionally, Red.es will provide free Internet access to the public in rural areas where broadband Internet access is not available.

The Nomadix AG-2000w+ will be implemented in government office locations throughout Spain and is integrated with the Red.es NOC system to centrally operate all of the local sites. Isolux will deploy the Gateways at the numerous HotSpot venues across Spain. Remote locations that have no access to ADSL or other connection will be linked by satellite through Telefonica -- Hispasat.
