STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Referring to a press release on August 14, 2004, regarding nominations to the Pergo Board of Directors, before the Extraordinary General Meeting on August 19, 2004. Now, the company Nomination Committee has, in addition to Karl Stenstrom, Chairman of the Board in Thomas Concrete Corp., Atlanta, USA and Jan Soderberg, Board member in Osix AB, Hardford AB and Five Star Destinations, Inc., USA, nominated Fredrik Gradin, President and CEO in Explorer Group Inc., USA, to the Pergo Board.
As a result, the Pergo Board will increase from its present six Board members to nine.
Shareholders representing about 60% of the shares have declared that they stand behind the proposal.
