Human Resources Outsourcing Association Launches Membership Drive

Inaugural Event Highlighted by New Membership Levels, Certification Curriculum, Public Policy and Legislation Calendar

NASHUA, N.H., Sept. 8, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Human Resources Outsourcing Association(r) ("HROA(r)"), a non-profit association dedicated to promoting professionalism in, and best practices of, human resources outsourcing ("HRO"), today announced the launch of its inaugural membership drive.

Different levels of membership are now available for organizations, individuals, and students. Details of the membership categories can be found on the Association's website at http://www.hroassociation.org. A highlight of the new membership structure is a first-of-its-kind corporate membership, available to all organizations, regardless of size. All employees of corporate members will have the ability to self-register at the HROA's website, and their HROA membership will be free as long as they are employed by an HROA corporate member. This unique structure enables organizations to participate in HROA activities collectively, when suitable, and enables corporate members' employees to pursue HROA activities individually, with the full benefits of HROA membership.

"Corporate members can now offer their employees membership in the HROA both as a perquisite of employment, and as clear communication that the company is committed to their long-term professional development," said Michael Beygelman, HROA Executive Director. "The HROA has pioneered this innovative corporate membership model, enabling organizations of all sizes to offer their employees the benefit of the HROA's content, programs and activities."

Mike Brannan, HROA Board member and chair of the Membership committee added, "The HROA has created a comprehensive value proposition for all of the member categories. Not only do members receive a complimentary subscription to HRO Today or HRO Europe magazine, and deep discounts on the Certified Professional Outsourcing curriculum and certification program, and other HRO industry events, but members become part of one unified HRO voice that communicates the industry's position on public policy and legislative initiatives."

The HROA Board of Directors extended a special invitation to organizations to consider becoming HROA Founding members. "The Board is now accepting and reviewing applications for this prestigious HROA membership category," said Glenn Davidson, HROA Chairman and Chief of Market Strategy and Corporate Development at Accenture HR Services. "Organizations that are interested in applying to become Founding members are encouraged to make timely application for this highly-prestigious HROA membership category."

The HROA's Founding members, to date have generously donated capital, time and valuable resources to enable the HROA to operate and develop cutting-edge research, education, programs and tools for the HROA's member community. The Founding members' vision is an association that represents the entire HRO industry, open to all that have an interest in HRO, including government agencies, media, analysts, HRO customers, providers, advisors, consultants, and students.
