Telelogic signs $770,000 deal with US Department of Defense Agency for major defense project

Telelogic SYNERGY(R) selected for change and configuration management of major weapons control system


MALMO, Sweden, Sept. 24, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced software and systems development, in conjunction with Bay State Computers, today announced an award for a major US Department of Defense Agency for $770,000. The contract includes licensing, maintenance and professional services for Telelogic SYNERGY for change and configuration management. The Telelogic solution will assist in managing requirements, change requests, and configuration management for a major weapons control system.

Telelogic and Bay State Computers will be providing primary support to the Program's main objectives which include implementation of a standard software change and configuration management system, providing reporting and traceability from requirements through software builds, supporting audit and reporting needs of the Program as it relates to the overall software components and finally, leveraging Telelogic's professional services to meet deployment milestones, including knowledge transfer to support existing policies and processes.

The change request and change management capabilities in SYNERGY/CM and SYNERGY/Change will be implemented over three phases, with the initial phase starting at contract award. The solution will further integrate with the existing licenses of the requirements management solution, Telelogic DOORS, that are already installed and deployed in support of the weapons control system.
