Art Rascon Foundation for Children Names Pediatric Prosthetics Incorporated as Designee on Behalf of Children With a Limb Loss

HOUSTON, Oct. 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Art Rascon, winner of 15 Emmy awards for journalism, has created an "earmarked funds" portfolio for children with a limb-loss, and designated Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. (Pink Sheets:PDPR) the prosthetics provider to those children. World famous, with too many awards to name, Mr. Rascon has focused the world's attention upon the children caught up in the storms of world events.

Kenneth Bean, with Pediatric Prosthetics: "I'm sure that Mr. Rascon was inundated with offers of help as a result of those so sensitively done stories. He could not turn away when asked to be a conduit for carefully designated aid to those children. He formed a 501 (C) 3 foundation for the vehicle, and we are deeply honored to be a part of his effort."
