(OTCBB:TNOLF), a global provider of end-to-end cross-media integration for "seamless computing", announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary TCross Media (TCM) will demonstrate TVgate, an interactive triple-play solution, in booth number 1238 at the Fall 2004 VON Conference & Expo, October 18 - 21 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA.
The Company will demonstrate this cutting-edge solution, which allows the full integration on TV of voicemail, email, SMS capabilities and caller ID and a host of other messaging and interactive features while watching TV.
TVgate is designed to leverage broadband Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) opportunities and will be marketed to service providers including cable companies and Telcos. The technology allows a user to experience all the benefits and features of a standard messaging system and turns the TV into a fully functional messaging portal. Now, for the first time, customers will be able to watch their favorite TV program while at the same time send a message including SMS and email from a drop down menu, which appears alongside the show the viewer is watching. TVgate also enhances the TV viewing experience by displaying Caller ID on TV with no interruptions; if a call is received during a program it will be displayed in an easy-to-see format and the viewer can either accept the call or place it in voice mail with the press of a button on the TV remote control. TVgate is fully compatible with leading set-top box manufacturers and is easily installed at the MSO premises without additional hardware installation on customer premises.
