Global Explorations, Inc.: Pay Your Bills via SMS; Mobile Banking the next Step

KAMLOOPS, British Columbia, Dec. 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global Explorations Inc. (Pink Sheets:GXXL) will be adding an additional feature to its product next year, when the company shall roll out its SMS Bill Pay service. Using this service, customers shall have the ability to pay their bills via SMS. The company believes that SMS Bill Pay is how the majority of the bills will be paid for within the next few years.

The company has conducted extensive research in this field. There are a few government agencies in India, which are currently using SMS Bill Pay. So far, SMS Bill Pay has been very successful. Since the U.S. markets for SMS messaging solutions are a few years behind that of the rest of the world, the company can evaluate what works and what does not work overseas, before it brings that technology to the U.S. consumer.

Once SMS Bill Pay is successful, this will lead to Mobile Banking as the next logical step in the evolution of SMS.

Once SMS Bill Pay is up and running, Global shall receive a small percentage of each bill that is being paid via SMS, along with the fees for the SMS message. PayPal which was acquired by eBay (Nasdaq:EBAY), was extremely successful in its business model of letting customers pay for their bills. If SMS Bill Pay is successful, customers who had a cell phone could pay their bills without even logging onto the internet.

Global is striving to increase shareholder value.
