RACINE, Wis., March 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Pacific Sands, Inc. (OTCBB:PFSD) announced today that the company has received opening orders from three major market spa product distributors. The Midwest-based distributors have placed initial stocking orders for the EcoOneT Spa Pre-Filter, scheduled for delivery in mid-March. Together, these distributors offer a wide range of spa products for more than 200 retail outlets, vastly expanding the EcoOne presence in the marketplace.
The company also reported that it has recently added EcoOne and Rainforest BlueT outlets in Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Utah, Washington and Oregon.
Pacific Sands National Sales manager John Homan is excited about the EcoOne line's recent growth surge. "We're having our greatest initial success with the EcoOne Spa Pre-Filter. The product is receiving a tremendous reaction from distributors and dealers and making swift inroads into the national mainstream pool and spa marketplace."
Mr. Homan added that one of the distributors has already sold out their initial order before even taking delivery and that the company's product lines are currently being reviewed by OEMs, national product distributors, multi-branch retail outlets and major chemical distributors.
Michael Wynhoff, company President and CEO was pleasantly surprised by advances made in the past several weeks. "We're pursuing an aggressive marketing strategy for the new pre-filter. The initial target was to sell approximately 10,000 units in its first year on the market. Thanks to the efforts of our marketing and sales team we're already on target to crush that goal."

Mr. Wynhoff and Mr. Michie recently returned from a sales seminar in the Bahamas with a major U.S. spa manufacturer and their top dealers. The company is currently assembling a report on the results of the trip which will be made available upon approval of all parties involved.
