Little Flagger takes his place on the stand above the track and waves his flags of many colors, from the green start to the yellow caution to the black-and-white-checkered finish. Little Flagger takes his cue from the race official who tells him what is happening and waves the appropriate flag when necessary. For instance, when a very bad wreck leaves debris on the track, a red flag comes out to let the drivers know the race is stopping for clean-up.

Millis says she has always been a person who looks for ways to be creative. She has been a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and teen activity coordinator for more than 20 years. A wife, mother of three and grandmother of eight, she works out of her home in Centerville, Ohio, where she shares a passion for stock car racing with her husband and son.
