Produce Safety and Security International, Inc. Announces Updates and Results From Demonstration at a USA Beef Processor

The Potential Size and Breadth of the USA Food Industry that the Company Intends to Penetrate is Over $800 Billion

TORONTO, March 24, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Produce Safety and Security International Inc., the 'Company,' or (Pink Sheets:PDSS) has been performing a demonstration of the Whitewater Ozone Process at a major USA beef processor in Southern California since March 14, 2005.

PDSS is proud to announce that the beef processor in Southern California has decided to extend the demonstration period for 30 days. The preliminary demonstration results and plate counts show a significant reduction of plate count in most samples with many plate counts showing no pathogens or bacteria plate count. PDSS intend to test all the departments at the Southern California beef processing plant over the next 30 days. The Company believes that this demonstration may create rent revenue with the proposal of purchase of the system after the 30 day demonstration period is assessed along with the needs for the total Southern California beef processing operation.

The Company believes that this demonstration may offer PDSS the opportunity to have the Whitewater Process service the entire plants operation. This opportunity and relationship with this beef processor in Southern California will be accomplished in stages over the following year. PDSS will be demonstrating the product through the entire beef processing process to the finished product at the time of shipment and reconditioning. The demonstration includes truck sanitation and the washing of the animals prior to processing. The Whitewater Ozone Patented Process has certification documentation from the USDA/FSIS AND OSHA REGS.

"We are looking forward to showing our customers and our shareholders what our equipment can do to save money for our customers and provide for food safety and sanitation needs," said Clarence `Bill' Karney, President & CEO of PDSS. "One of the most important elements of the Company's food safe products and systems is its ability to extend the shelf life of a product an additional 10 to 60 days. The extension of the life cycle of a perishable product is extremely beneficial to all parties, including the consumer or commercial end-user."

The Company believes that its programs, systems and proposed distribution centers in the marketplace are second to none. PDSS is looking forward to announcing its new corporate office locations and providing additional information regarding its plans for growth.
