'Say It In Russian' Ready for 'A' List Casting Call

Hollywood Abuzz Over Speculation on Leading Roles for Latest 'Tinsel Town' Romantic Thriller


SANTA BARBARA, Calif., April 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Soleil Film, Inc., (Pink Sheets:SFLM) a film production company based in Santa Barbara, California, announced today that an A LIST casting call is to commence in the next week for its new feature film, "Say it in Russian."

Soleil Film is an entertainment firm primarily involved in television and film production. The company's television library includes the award wining celebrity biography series, Autograph, -- the winner of the Biography/Profiles Bronze Medal at the New York festivals in 2003 and winner of the Globe Gold Award from the World Media Festival in Hamburg, in 2003. Other current film projects the company has a minority interest in include Fallacy, starring John Savage (Deer Hunter), Stephen Baldwin and Gary Busey, now in post production, and All That I Need, a docudrama reality feature in the genre of The Blair Witch Project.

True Love Has No Borders

Say it in Russian is set in the picturesque capitals of Paris and Moscow. Andrew meets Daria, a young Russian girl, wile on vacation in Paris and falls in love. He goes to Moscow, where he meets Daria's father, a rich Russian mafia oligarch, and becomes entwined with his situation, which places them both in grave danger. Daria and Andrew face the Russian FSB (ex KGB), the U.S. Government, and the Russian mafia in their quest to be together. Directed by award winning director, Jeff Celentano (Gunshy, Primary Suspect), edited by legendary editor, David Rawlins (What's Love Got to Do With It, Urban Cowboy), and with casting by Rosemary Welden (The Kiss,) the film is now in production with shooting scheduled for the summer of 2005.

"All That I Need"

All That I Need is a docudrama, in the genre of The Blair Witch Project and Super Size Me. What if you had the opportunity to make all the money you needed to fulfill all of your deepest desires? Would you go for it no matter what? In All That I Need, a group of people involved in a Muffin Club pyramid scheme in Newport Beach, enticed by the idea of a huge payoff, watch their fellow investors take down huge amounts of money and enjoy lavish lifestyles and exotic cars. Human nature being what it is, greed leads to distrust and the camera captures the demise of the scheme and the fighting between all involved. All That I Need is completed and will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2005.

"Fallacy"

Fargo meets American Beauty in a Malibu Deceptive World. For money. For murder. For each other. In their deceptive world, you can't buy freedom, you can only steal it. Fallacy, is directed by Jeff Jensen, with cinematography by Ric Waite (48 Hours, Brewster's Millions), and edited by Academy Award Winning editor Scott Conrad (Rocky). On condition that Buffalo, New York resident, Karen agrees to move in and live on the property, she will inherit her Aunt Tina's house in Malibu. Her artist husband Peter convinces a reluctant Karen that they can start a new life in a big mansion among the rich and famous, where he will have a profitable market for his paintings. Upon arrival, she becomes annoyed when Peter, disappointed with the unlivable conditions of the inherited house, advocates selling the property for the profit over building a life and home with her. When the surfer realtor (Steve Baldwin) desperate to make a deal tells Peter that the property is not saleable as long as Heathcliff (John Savage) remains, as a legal squatter granted by Aunt Tina in her will, he decides to take action. When the fallacy and repercussions of Karen's hidden past are revealed by her kept neighbor and childhood girlfriend Marcie, they plot to rid themselves of their husbands.

Duncan Clark, Executive Consultant -- Mr. Clark served as president of Columbia TriStar Distribution International from April 1996 through July 7, 2000, and, prior to his appointment as president, served as the vice president and head of International Marketing at Sony Entertainment. Clark has worked with some of the industry's top talent on both sides of the camera, overseeing the marketing and distribution of over 1,000 films in over sixty countries worldwide.
