Produce Safety and Security International, Inc. Prepares Proposals for Five Major Meat Packers in New Zealand


TORONTO, April 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Produce Safety and Security International Inc, the 'Company,' or (Pink Sheets:PDSS) is pleased to announce that Rodger Harris, PDSS's Vice President of marketing for New Zealand and Australia has been requested to present proposals to five major meat packers.

Interest has been generated as a direct result of testing by PDSS at a major Beef Packer in Southern California, which continues to show favorable results. Rodger Harris, stated "This is just the tip of the iceberg, as much interest is being shown in the Diary Industry for down under."

PDSS is also waiting for the finished layout of the Red Hawk Packing House to begin installation of Ozone sanitization equipment at the facility. PDSS's first truck wash is still on schedule for opening at the Red Hawk Facility prior to when Red Hawk begins shipping its melons.
