LOS ANGELES, May 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PracticeXpert, Inc. (OTCBB:PXPT) today announced that it has entered into a Value Added Reseller agreement with Virginia Beach, VA-based AcSel Corporation, a leading billing services provider to the healthcare industry in the mid-Atlantic region.
Under the terms of the agreement, AcSel will be allowed to offer PracticeXpert's full software product line to the medical community in the mid-Atlantic region. Currently, AcSel holds service contracts with approximately 45 existing practices totaling 350-plus providers based mostly in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and Florida.
According to Mark Schalow, AcSel vice president, AcSel has worked closely with PracticeXpert for more than three years utilizing its Practice Manager and Electronic Health Record software to handle AcSel's medical billing business. "Our confidence in the PracticeXpert products led us to make the decision to expand our services to include the sale of in-house turnkey solutions to new and existing clients. We are confident that this new VAR relationship with PracticeXpert will provide the means for both companies to grow and prosper," Schalow said.
