TelePlus Expands Coverage of its Prepaid Telecom Service


MONTREAL, May 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- TelePlus Enterprises, Inc. ("TelePlus Connect") has executed an agreement with Aliant Telecom Inc. to resell telecommunications services, including local, long distance and Internet services, in Eastern Canada.

"This agreement will allow TelePlus to expand its telecom prepaid services to Eastern Canada. This will provide us increased exposure while giving us access to additional markets," commented Edward Henry, Director of Operations for TelePlus Connect.

"We've been impressed with the performance of our TelePlus Connect subsidiary since the acquisition of Freedom over a month ago. April results, for that subsidiary, which we will announce later this month, indicate earnings (before depreciation and taxes) in excess of our original expectations," stated company CEO Marius Silvasan.
