Adam Japko Joins Network Communications to Lead its Home Design Division of Magazines

Move Emphasizes Company's Commitment to Aggressively Grow and Expand Important Family of Publications


LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., June 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Network Communications, the leading publisher of targeted local media serving the real estate and home design markets, announced today the addition of Adam Japko to its management team, as President of its Home Design division of publications.

Prior to joining Network Communications, Adam Japko served as President and Chief Operating Officer of PennWell's Advanced Technology Division, where he was responsible for managing numerous acquisitions, business unit launches, expansion initiatives and globalization projects since 1992. Mr. Japko also sat on the company's Board of Directors.

On May 2, 2005, Network Communications announced the acquisition of seven publications, including Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, St. Louis Homes & Lifestyles, Seattle Homes & Lifestyles, Mountain Living, Log & Timber Style and To The Trade. These assets, as well as Enclave, Unique Homes, Kansas City Home, will fall under Mr. Japko's purview.
