 -- Lower the pool and spa heater's temperature setting and install
    a time clock to pre-set and minimize heating hours.
 -- Keep the pool or spa covered when not in use to help reduce heat
    loss, chemical loss and water evaporation.
 -- Consider purchasing a solar pool cover.
 -- Reduce filtering time to the minimum and schedule it for
    "off peak" hours (before 11 a.m. and after 6 p.m.).
