OMX Calls Extraordinary General Meeting


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 22, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Directors of OMX has today decided to call an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders to take place on August 19, 2005, at 12.00 CET at the OMX office on Tullvaktsvagen 15 in Stockholm, Sweden. The purpose of the Extraordinary General Meeting is to elect a new member to the Board of Directors of OMX, to replace Henrik Normann who has resigned from the Board of Directors.

As communicated in a press release dated June 1, 2005, OMX's Nominating Committee proposes to the shareholders that Hans Munk Nielsen be elected to serve until the 2006 Annual General Meeting is held. More information about Hans Munk Nielsen can also be found in that press release.
