(Pink Sheets:SCXC): RMD Entertainment Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Sciax Corp., announced today that it was in the final stages of negotiations for their hip hop music projects to be distributed and promoted by the Pickwick group out of London, England. Pickwick Group, which formerly owned 40% of the music distribution marketplace in Europe, was acquired and is currently owned by Hallmark, which has resulted in Pickwick being able to regain some of their standing in the market place.
"Initial contract terms are expected within three weeks and we feel very confident that a deal will be consummated on the first of four projects very soon," said Giorgio Costonis, CEO of RMD Entertainment Inc. "We are very excited about the possibility of working with the Pickwick Group in the European market place," he added.
Dom Ratello, label manager for Pickwick Group further indicated, "RMD's hip hop catalogue is exceptional in quality, and we look forward to working with them to complement the distribution agreement they already have with Bungalo Records through Universal."
