Trelleborg: Comparison Figures for 2004 in Connection With Interim Report for the Second Quarter of 2005

Adaptation to IFRS and transfer of operations between business areas


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- This document provides comparison figures for 2004 in connection with Trelleborg's interim report for the second quarter of 2005.

Trelleborg's consolidated income statements in accordance with IFRS (page 74 in the 2004 Annual Report) have been adjusted as follows:

-- Tax on profit from participations in associated companies is included in operating profit (previously reported under the heading Tax).

-- Internal transfer of operations within the Group from the second half of 2004:

-- Transfer of the materials unit at the facility in the town of Trelleborg, Sweden from Trelleborg Wheel Systems to Trelleborg Engineered Systems. Effect on Trelleborg Engineered Systems' sales for the first six months of 2004: approximately SEK 90 M.

-- Transfer of the Trelleborg Applied Technology unit from Trelleborg Sealing Solutions to Trelleborg Engineered Systems. Effect on Trelleborg Engineered Systems' sales for the first six months of 2004: approximately SEK 16 M.

To achieve comparability, historical data has been adjusted, see enclosed table.
