Keystone Raising Funds for Camp Mak-A-Dream

POMONA, Calif., Aug. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:KEYS) announced this week its commitment to the 2005 Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) fundraising campaign. In addition to donating $1000 towards prizes, Keystone will assist in selling tickets for the 2005 "Hop on the Bus" Campaign, which will raise funds for the Collision Industry Foundation. Much of these funds will be used to purchase a new bus for Camp Mak-A-Dream.

Camp Mak-A-Dream is a medically supervised, cost-free camp for children and young adults with cancer. "The Keystone Team is proud of the Collision's Industry's commitment to Camp Mak-A-Dream; we strongly believe in their mission and feel fortunate to be part of such a worthy project," stated President and Chief Executive Officer, Richard Keister. During the month of August and September, Keystone Team Members will be selling tickets to industry participants throughout the U.S.

Keystone Automotive participated in a similar CIF project two years ago and alone raised almost $130,000 from ticket sales. These contributions, along with the contributions of countless others, helped to build a medical facility for Camp Mak-A-Dream. "Keystone Automotive has a demonstrated history of model corporate citizenship through industry-related humanitarian efforts," said Chuck Sulkala, Executive Director of the National Auto Body Council (NABC). "All funds raised over what is needed to purchase the new bus will be used for other important CIF projects."

Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. distributes its products primarily to collision repair shops through its 129 distribution facilities, of which 22 serve as regional hubs, located in 38 states and Canada.
