EWAN 1 Agrees to Joint Venture With Enlace to Bring Broadband to Mexico

Entire Range of Wireless, Internet and VOIP Will be Available to Subscribers in State of Sonora


SANTA ANA, Calif., Aug. 23, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- eWAN1, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EWAN), today announced that eWAN has agreed to join with Enlace, S.A, a prominent telecommunications company in Mexico, to bring its entire suite of advanced broadband products, including WI-FI, WI-MAX, and VOIP to subscribers in the Mexican state of Sonora. The new company, named Sinfronteras, meaning "without borders," will deploy eWAN's proprietary Triple Play technology, including video, voice and data wirelessly to a target audience within six months of more 5,000 subscribers, who will be billed an average of $80 U.S., monthly.

William J. Kettle, CEO of eWAN observed, "This is our first installation outside the borders of the U.S., and conforms with our long-stated plans to become the premiere telecommunications company serving small cities and rural areas in the United States and abroad. We look to a projected $400,000 monthly, or $4.8 million annual revenue stream from Sinfronteras."
