Old National Bank Provides Banking Assistance to Victims of Hurricane Katrina

Bank Associates and Clients Continue to Support the Relief Efforts -- Over $65,000 Raised


EVANSVILLE, Ind., Sept. 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Old National Bancorp (NYSE:ONB) has announced an initiative to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina find solutions to their banking questions and concerns. The service will be offered to those who have sought refuge within the Old National Bancorp footprint of Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois.

To date, Old National Bancorp has raised over $65,000 and donated over $10,000 to the relief efforts. Along with the corporate donations, the bank has encouraged regional offices, branches and departments to take part in fundraising efforts. The following are just of few of the relief efforts that have and are taking place to raise money for the victims:



 -- Terre Haute, IN:  Spearheading `Mile of Quarters' fundraiser
 -- Boonville, IN:  Sponsoring local Radiothon
 -- Carmi, IL:  Hosted bake sale and challenged local businesses
 -- Northbrook Branch - Evansville, IN: Collecting non-perishables
      for victims
 -- Finance Department: Raised $1,602 from a 'Jean Day' fundraiser
 -- Greenville, KY: Promoted and hosted public bake sale
 -- ONB Insurance Division: Hosting a silent auction
