Luminart Corp. to Present at SCIA in December in Irvine, California

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Luminart Corp. (Pink Sheets:LUMP) will present at the December 3, 2005 SCIA conference in Irvine, Calif. Luminart has been in the research and development stage for the last seven years. In 2005, Luminart completed production of its new system 2020 machine, Windows-based operating software and edge-lit light frames for application in the digital print and photo industry. Luminart will be presenting these products to the target audience of "more than one hundred and fifty NASD member firms, investment and merchant bankers, investment advisors, analysts, financial service managers, venture capitalists, investor relations, industry consultants, securities attorneys, media and qualified investors," according to the SCIA.

Luminart had its doors opened to visitors, investors and industry professionals for review and comments during the final development of the new products. A focus group from the digital print and photo industry evaluated the products from all aspects including durability, cost, quality, packaging, and overall marketability over the past 18 months. The group has given final approval to the products to be debuted in 2006.

The advertising industry has utilized a back-lit frame to display pictures for many years. Until recently, this technology was unavailable to the retail customer due to prohibitively large sizes and high costs. Luminart now supplies edge-lit light boxes that are one-two inches thick, able to hold media as small as a 5x7 photo to a 20x24 inch portrait. The edge-lit frames turn an ordinary photo into a work of art that will be admired by all who see it.

Businesses have been caught between the pop of a neon sign and the branding capabilities of the digital print industry. Luminart brings both of these features together in one product, enabling businesses to receive the benefit from both industries. Luminart has a patented process that allows a gel to be applied to a digital print that, when set in a light box, will light up like a neon tube. Luminart is the OEM manufacturer of the CNC machines allowing this process to take place.

The new CNC machines have been designed with the end user in mind. The machines combine awesome production power with ease of operation. The entire machine is controlled by a built-in touch screen monitor. Within 15 minutes, gel can be applied to a digital print and cured in the UV curing chamber that is included within the machine. Anyone familiar with Microsoft Windows can easily operate Luminart's custom CNC software to apply gel.
