Tradeshow Marketing Company Announces Appointment of Luniel de Beer as CTO


VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tradeshow Marketing Company (Pink Sheets:TSHO), a product development and specialty retail company, is pleased to announce today its board of directors has appointed Luniel de Beer as Chief Technical Officer.

As The Tradeshow Marketing Company's CTO, Luniel will be responsible for overseeing TSHO's global technology activities across all businesses, leading new product development efforts and expanding the company's robust technology infrastructure.

Mr. De Beer comes to TSHO from Ekaria, where he acted as Operations Manager for www.shopamex.com, an eCommerce site owned by American Express, as well as the American Express corporate procurement eCommerce solution implemented worldwide. In his capacity, he managed a team of software engineers, project managers, and customer service engineers. During his tenure at Ekaria, shopAmex increased its online sales by an estimated 21%. He has also managed large projects for companies such as Microsoft, where he designed and built out several large-scale data centers against million-dollar budgets, and for the Airports Company of South Africa, where he designed, developed, and maintained their permit access system that managed photo permits and facility access for more than 30,000 permit holders across two of their largest international airports. Luniel brings with him a passion for enterprise solutions and forward-thinking.
