About the Author
Phalon Nelson was born in Brooklyn, New York June 28, 1979 in Booth Memorial Hospital. At the age of five he moved from New York to Virginia Beach Virginia, and resided there with his mother Regina Higdon, his step father Anthony Higdon, his brother Laurice Higdon, and his sister Deja Higdon. In September of 84 Phalon attended school at College Park Elementary of which he graduated in 1992. Phalon then attended Brandon Middle School for a couple of years, and then went on to go to Tallwood High School in the summer of 1994. After graduating high school in 1998 Phalon then pursued a career in the United States Marine Corps for a four-year enlistment of which he served honorably. After getting out of the Marines in June of 2002 he then joined the Army in the summer of 2003.
