Energy Vision International Project Awarded Top Energy Star Rating


OXFORD, Miss., March 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Energy Vision International (Pink Sheets:EGVI), a rapidly growing diversified energy company, announced today a significant award in energy efficiency.

EGVI's subsidiary, American Geothermal, contracted to install the DeMarco Energy Miser heating and cooling system in the Show Home of the Bill Dunn Construction development. http://www.billdunnconstruction.com. The property was subjected to rigorous testing procedures by inspectors of the Green Building Program and as a result has been awarded a 5-Star Energy rating.

The Energy Star rating system is designed to award points for energy efficient technology incorporated in residential properties. Homes are awarded between 1 to 5 stars with the higher stars representing the most energy efficient.

The model home is slightly over 4,300 square feet but is expected to see an average energy bill of under $100.00 per month. The development project will utilize a number of the latest environmentally friendly and energy efficient technologies including rain water collection, solar photovoltaic panels, tank less hot water heating system, architectural shading, double pane low-e wood windows, Icynene foam insulation, and two DeMarco Energy Miser two stage, 25.3 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) units.

Victor M. DeMarco, President of American Geothermal System, Inc. commented, "In excess of 5000 homes in the Austin area have been rated under the Green Building Program, of these only 25 homes have been awarded top marks."
