Unique Pizza and Subs' Boston Franchisee Projects Sales of $21,480,000 by End of 2007


PITTSBURGH, Pa., May 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation (Pink Sheets:UPZS) a Delaware Corporation, has unveiled plans by its Boston franchisee to have 5 (five) new locations and 39 (thirty-nine) converted locations open by the end of 2007, as a result of an aggressive program to convert existing pizza restaurants in the region over to Unique Pizza and Subs. With the new stores and conversions Unique Pizza and Subs is projecting sales in Massachusetts of $21,480,000 by the end of 2007. To spearhead this effort, franchisees Joe Pittorino and David W. Nyberg have hired a Director of Conversions, Will Newell. Will has worked for many years in the financial field as a senior executive in institutional equity sales, and has a degree from Harvard University.
