Joyce Sims' Album 'A New Beginning' is the First Release for New Entertainment Company, 'Vessel Entertainment'

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., July 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- R&B Dance Diva Joyce Sims, along with longtime partner and manager Rick Papaleo, announced today the launch of a new Entertainment company, Vessel Entertainment, and along with record label Vessel Records will release her much anticipated comeback album "A New Beginning."

The company will focus on Joyce's release but are promising exciting new releases later this year and early next year.

The retail release of "A New Beginning" consists of 14 tracks -- 12 plus 2 bonus tracks. The album has 4 tracks remixed by world renowned producer Junior Vasquez and along with other producers and Ms. Sims herself put together what is being considered an album for everyone; a bit of R&B, inspirational tracks, radio friendly tracks and of course hard hitting club tracks that will keep you moving.

"Joyce is the No. 1 priority but we are growing rapidly and have 3 other projects that we are looking at for 2006 release. Joyce also has great relationships with the dance community especially with the 80's freestyle community and we want to speak with all dance and R&B artists that are seeking to release their product," states Rick Papaleo, CEO of Vessel Entertainment. "Several opportunities have been presented and we are reviewing all of them. Things have been so busy that we have not had an opportunity to launch our website as of yet. That will be happening very soon."

"This has been a great experience and I feel that we have been blessed with this opportunity and know that the best is yet to come. The response on my album has been great from the industry, radio and especially my fans and I am looking forward to the album release and my upcoming tour!" states Joyce Sims, President and Director of Vessel Entertainment.

The label has a distribution deal with CED Entertainment who distributes digitally through Sony / Red and retail through Bayside Distribution and focus for now on R&B, Dance and Gospel releases.

"As we grow we will look at other genres but for now the focus will be on Dance, R&B and Progressive Gospel," states Rick Papaleo. "Joyce's R&B single 'I'll Always Be Here for You' was the first radio release and the response has been great! The next release will be 'What the World Needs Now' for the summer and we have 2 versions currently; Junior's hard hitting club mix and Joyce's version which is more radio friendly. But stay tuned, we hope to have another great announcement with regard to this coming soon!"

Sources close to the company have reported that they are in discussions with one of Ms. Sims fellow dance artists for a huge early 2007 release and that Mr. Papaleo is in discussions with a public company for a possible merger.
