WHAT: Screenings Under the Stars is affordable family entertainment
at a great price, free! Seeing a spectacular film on the
waterfront under the stars is the perfect family outing or
truly unique and memorable summer date. And it is more than
just a movie! Prior to the start of each screening will be
themed activities, coordinated with the theme of that week's
film.
On August 31st, come join us for the finale of the Screening
Under the Stars series as we present "Cat In The Hat." The
Academy of Natural Sciences will present their "If We Could
Talk To The Animals" interactive display and educational show.
This show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Pennsylvania SPCA will also have their mobile adoption unit
on site from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The PSPCA Mobile Adoption Unit has
sweet and cuddly cats and kittens available for adoption. When
you adopt a pet from the PSPCA you get more meow for your
money! For the low cost of $75, you can adopt the pet of your
choice that has received all of the necessary inoculations
for one year. All PSPCA pets are also microchipped as a means
of permanent identification to protect the pet for life. The
PSPCA has free behavioral training, health care information and
advice available to you for the life of your PSPCA pet. Call
