U.S. MedSys Corp. Expands Its Board of Directors


HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J., Aug. 18, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- U.S. MedSys Corp. (OTCBB:UMSY) announced today that Kenneth R. Cooke, MD and Robert Wiltz were selected to fulfill positions on the Board of Directors of the Corporation.

Dr. Cooke received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1986 and his Medical Degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1990. Dr. Cooke's distinguished career has included a residency with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 1990-93; and a clinical and post-doctoral fellowship centered on Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Dana Faber Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital, Boston MA from 1993-96. Dr. Cooke has also been an academic instructor in Pediatrics at the Harvard Medical School and the Dana Faber Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital, Boston, MA from 1996-99. Since 1999, Dr. Cooke is an associate professor at the University of Michigan Cancer Center-Department of Pediatrics and Communicable Diseases. His current responsibilities also include clinical trial studies and grant research.

Mr. Wiltz received his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University. Mr. Wiltz has also completed various graduate management programs at Rice University, University of Minnesota and Northeastern University. Mr. Wiltz was employed as a designer and project manager for the Apollo and other space programs.

Mr. Wiltz also was employed by Alfa Laval, Inc. for 14 years retiring as executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Currently, Mr. Wiltz is semi-retired while providing operational consulting services to various organizations.
