Dance Diva Joyce Sims Announces Plans to Launch 'Vessel Dance'

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 17, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- R&B / Dance Diva's Vessel Entertainment announces plans to launch "Vessel Dance," a new Dance label with an imprint for compilation albums as well as an outlet for artists to work with top producers / remixers.

Vessel is working with some of the top producers and remixers in the industry on the new Joyce Sims' release "A New Beginning," with such producers as Junior Vasquez and Glenn Friscia of Friscia and Lamboy. Vessel is in discussions with artists for development and distribution of new projects. The label seeks to release both new music as well as compilation albums from the past great artists that Ms. Sims has worked with.

"We are planning a re-release of Ms. Sims' hits such as 'Come In to My Life,' 'Walk Away,' 'Lifetime Love,' and 'All and All,' as well as others," stated Rick Papaleo, CEO of Vessel Entertainment.

Also in business plan is to release a film loosely based on Ms. Sims' career with the main story being the history of Freestyle Dance Music and what the artists must endure in this fast pace business.

"I spoke with my Board and a decision was made to move forward a bit ahead of time with this label. I have been speaking with colleagues and the deal that we are offering is extremely generous and fair for both the artist and the company," states Joyce Sims, President and Chairperson of Vessel Entertainment.

No date has been confirmed as of yet, but the launch is expected before the first quarter of 2007.
