WHAT: On Saturday at 1 p.m., Santa arrives by DUCK (as in Ride
the Ducks) to the Blue Cross RiverRink and then makes his
way to the Olympic-size rink where he will skate with
visitors. He'll retire to his throne and greet children
throughout the day. Victorian Carolers will stroll and
sing Holiday favorites. The free, ever-popular Skate with
Santa activities for skaters and spectators alike
include:
-- Free Holiday face painting
-- Santa crafts -- decorating Reindeer Ears and
creating make-and-take
-- Rudolph, Christmas Tree and Santa pins and
ornaments.
BACKGROUND: Independence Blue Cross is the founding and presenting
sponsor of the Blue Cross RiverRink. Other supporters
