ON24, Inc. Announces Launch of Bannercast Live for Advertisers and Marketers

ON24's Bannercast Live Transforms Banner Advertising With Live, In-Banner Webcasts for Increased Viewer Interaction

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- ON24, Inc., the global leader in webcasting and video communications solutions, today announced the market availability of Bannercast Live which transforms current banner advertising into a live, in-banner streaming video event that generates an unprecedented level of viewer interaction. Incorporating the interactivity of webcasting with the targeted abilities of banner advertising, Bannercast Live benefits companies with increased viewer interactivity and exposure to a company's message, while benefiting content providers when viewers spend more time on the website to view the live, in-banner webcast.

"Internet marketers and advertisers are constantly seeking novel ways of interacting with customers on the Internet," said Sharat Sharan, President and CEO of ON24. "With ON24's leadership in webcasting technology, we are introducing live, in-banner webcasting ads that will increase the level of user interactivity and involvement not previously available."

Unlike a pop-up ad window or typical banner ad that diverts Internet users to an alternate website, Bannercast Live uses the footprint of the existing banner advertisement to deliver a company's message via a live, in-banner webcast. ON24 is currently running a Bannercast Live series for Cisco Systems, with the first campaign viewed on the New York Times, BusinessWeek and Cisco's corporate websites on October 31, 2006 at 9:00 am EST.

Without leaving the space of the banner ad or website, Bannercast Live transitions from a banner ad into an interactive, live webcast. The typical Bannercast Live ad will promote the live webcast with a promotional message. To build momentum and excitement, the Bannercast Live ad will transition into a live countdown timer to mark the start of the webcast. When the live event commences, viewers can click on the Bannercast Live banner to view a live video broadcast, as well as register to fully interact with the presenter. Once the event finishes, a separate post-event message follows.

Key features:

-- Interactive features such as Q&A, document downloads, website
      links and more
-- Versatile display properties allow Bannercast to be rendered in
standard banner ad sizes (IMU) and embedded into a website
-- Registration to collect viewer information and control document
      distribution
-- Real-time reporting provides valuable information about
      registrants and viewing times
-- Sales force automation data transferring options
-- Dynamic, multi-phased presentation banner for live and on-demand
      uses
