ATLANTA, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 10, 2007 -- Recordant, the first company to deliver "Moment
of Truth Intelligence (MOTI)" through face-to-face audio capture, analytics
and consultative services, announced today the appointment of Julie
Counterman as vice president of marketing.
With 14 years of experience as a marketing and sales professional
particularly with emerging brands, Counterman is responsible for increasing
Recordant's visibility across its key vertical markets including retail,
automotive, banking, hospitality and government. She will showcase the
company's value-driven solution and its measurable impact on overall retail
sales, customer service, employee training, recruiting and standards
compliance.
"To offer clients access to the rich business intelligence that results
from employee-customer interactions in a retail or storefront environment,
or what industry experts refer to as the Moment of Truth, is truly
powerful," describes Counterman. "The speed with which we quickly deliver
manageable and actionable intelligence has resulted in measurable, dramatic
performance improvements for our clients."
During the last 24 months, Recordant has assembled a dynamic team comprised
of technology, retail and business expertise to pioneer the interaction
intelligence industry. Rounding out the company's executive team,
Counterman joins Recordant after recent success as a sales and marketing
executive with John H. Harland Company, a $1 billion financial services
provider. Before John H. Harland she served as the chief marketing officer
of InterCept Payment Solutions. She was also vice president of marketing
for Spectrum EBP and held management positions at NOVA Information Systems
and MCI. Counterman's expertise is in developing and executing strategies
to drive profitability, maximize revenue growth and ensure service quality.
Her track record as an innovative leader with the ability to build brands
and organizations made her an ideal fit for Recordant. Counterman will
work closely with and report directly to President and CEO, Jeff Neppl.
"Over the past two years we focused on the development of our solution
set," explains Neppl, a former Procter & Gamble executive. "With the
addition of Julie to drive market visibility and penetration, we will tap
into new vertical channels and educate industries on how Recordant can
deliver measurable value to their organization."
