CHANGES IN NORDKALK'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Bjarne Mitts, President & CEO of Rettig Group Ltd, was elected as new member of
the Board of Directors of Nordkalk Corporation in an extraordinary general
meeting on 18 January 2007. The meeting also decided that the Board of Directors
consists of five members instead of six as previously.

The members Orvo Siimestö and Jukka Järvelä resigned the Board of Directors when
the funds managed by CapMan sold their shares in Nordkalk Corporation on 28
December 2006. The transaction made Rettig Capital Ltd the second biggest owner
in Nordkalk with a holding of 21%. The biggest shareholder is Ahlström Capital
who owns 30.5% of the shares.

In addition to Bjarne Mitts, the members of the Board of Directors of Nordkalk
are Björn Mattsson (chairman), Morten Ahlström, Jan Inborr and Christoffer
Taxell.
