The cancellation of 4 827 500 Sampo A shares repurchased in 2006 has today been entered in the Trade Register. The Board of Sampo plc decided on the matter on 13 February 2007. The cancellation reduces the number of Sampo A share with the corresponding amount but has no effect on the share capital.
The number of Sampo plc's A shares totals 577,330,890. The total number of Sampo plc's shares, including 1,200,000 B shares, equals to 578,530,890 shares.
