Apranga Group turnover in January through March, 2007


The turnover of Apranga Group, the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania
and the Baltics, has made LTL 34.9 million (EUR 10.1 million) in March, 2007,
increasing even by 78% comparing to the January, 2006 (LTL 19.6 million (EUR
5.7 million)). 
 
Retail turnover of Apranga Group has increased by 75% in Lithuania, 82.9% in
Latvia, and 85.5% in Estonia in January. 

The highest growth of monthly turnover in company‘s history obviously confirmed
the validity of Apranga Group business strategy - to concentrate on the most
commercially successful clothing brands in European markets, aggressive
expansion, modern management of goods purchases and sales. 

The turnover of Apranga Group chain has made LTL 91.8 million (EUR 26.6
million) during the first quarter of 2007, increasing by 58.6 comparing to the
first quarter of 2006 (LTL 57.9 million (EUR 16.8 million)). Retail turnover of
Apranga Group chain exceeded planned amount by almost LTL 10 million (EUR 2.9
million). 

It is expected that operating profit of Apranga Group for the first quarter of
2007 will exceed the last year result of corresponding period (LTL 1425.2
thousand (EUR 412.8 thousand)) by at least 3.5 times. 

High turnover growth is common for all chains developed by Apranga Group.

Turnover of youth fashion chain increased by 2.1 times, luxury fashion by
71.3%, Zara chain by 61.5%, business chain (City) by 38.2%, and economic
(Apranga) chain by 34.4%. 

During the first quarter of 2007 Apranga Group has already opened 5 stores with
total area of almost 3000 sq. m. During the second quarter of 2007 Apranga
Group is planning to further pursue intensive expansion and will open 10 new
stores, 4 stores will be restructured, as well as 2 stores closed. 

Situation in the consumption market and successful implementation of planned
chain expansion creates an excellent base for achieving the strategic goal of
Apranga Group - to reach a turnover of LTL 1.000.000.000 in 2010, or 3.3 times
more than result of year 2006.
