abas-USA Is Releasing Version 2007 of Its ERP and E-Business Suite

ASHBURN, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 23, 2007 -- abas-USA is pleased to announce the release of
the new abas ERP version 2007. With this version, abas-USA is providing a
wide range of new functions.
In abas ERP 2007 several new languages have been added so that
international operating companies can utilize the system in every region of
the globe. Improvements are made in the financial integration and
consolidation. International operating companies can more easily
consolidate intercompany statements.
A new Service functionality is added to the offering. This allows for
manufacturers or distributors to maintain the products and installations at
customer sites. Components of these products can be maintained; Complaints
and service orders can also be managed. The functionality is fully
available over the Internet, so remote service technicians can access the
abas system via mobile devices.
In addition, the graphical user interface has been updated. Now clients can
run the abas portal integrated in the GUI or as standalone functionality in
a web browser. This new feature improves the management information
capabilities and allows easier access to data.
The abas E-business functions have been extended. Fully maintainable
product catalogues, website integration and full-service integration are
just some features.
The latest Jasper reports version for integrated report writing has been
included.
As always all existing abas customers can easily upgrade to this version
keeping all implemented customizations.
