HAMILTON, Bermuda, May 1, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Seadrill has been awarded a letter of intent by an international E & P operator for one of the newbuild deepwater units under construction in Korea/Singapore. The contract has a firm duration of five years, and estimated contract value is approximately US$970 million, including mobilization fee.
