The turnover of Apranga Group, the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltics, has made LTL 30.2 million (EUR 8.8 million) in April 2007, increasing by 38.5% in comparison to April 2006. The turnover of Apranga Group retail chain has made LTL 122 million (EUR 35.3 million) in January through April 2007, or by 53.1% more than in corresponding period of 2006. The growth rate of retail turnover in April was slower than four-month average because of unusually chill weather. Retail turnover of Apranga Group has increased by 41.4% in Lithuania, 35.8% in Latvia, and 25.5% in Estonia in April. Apranga Group turnover grew by 55.2% in Lithuania, 45.9% in Latvia, and 57.1% in Estonia during the first four months of 2007. Apranga Group operates a chain of 76 stores in the Baltic States: 55 in Lithuania, 18 in Latvia, 3 in Estonia. Apranga Group is owned by the concern MG Baltic.
