On turnover of Apranga Group in April 2007


The turnover of Apranga Group, the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltics, has made LTL 30.2 million (EUR 8.8 million) in April 2007, increasing by 38.5% in comparison to April 2006.

The turnover of Apranga Group retail chain has made LTL 122 million (EUR 35.3 million) in January through April 2007, or by 53.1% more than in corresponding period of 2006.

The growth rate of retail turnover in April was slower than four-month average because of unusually chill weather. Retail turnover of Apranga Group has increased by 41.4% in Lithuania, 35.8% in Latvia, and 25.5% in Estonia in April. Apranga Group turnover grew by 55.2% in Lithuania, 45.9% in Latvia, and 57.1% in Estonia during the first four months of 2007.

Apranga Group operates a chain of 76 stores in the Baltic States: 55 in Lithuania, 18 in Latvia, 3 in Estonia.

Apranga Group is owned by the concern MG Baltic.
