Xlibris Releases Our British Heritage -- Volume III

New Historical Research Book Takes an In-Depth Look At America's European Heritage as Well as Some Significant Events

CAYCE, S.C., May 3, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- An astonishing study about Scottish surnames, historical events and the European influence on America is set to begin as Xlibris proudly releases Our British Heritage -- Volume III: Fight For Independence and Freedom, the newest research book written by author Merlene Hutto Byars.

The text depicts the Scotch-Irish, the Welsh and other ancestries from the British Isles living in modern America, who felt compelled to leave their homeland mostly due to English oppression and religious purposes. Readers will discover that their emigration to America were based on a complex, multifactor inter-relationship between people of different origins, and religious convictions beginning long before 1292 when King Edward I of England tried to gain control of Scotland. The book also describes the racial makeup of Scotland and shows that by itself, it was a complex issue of those coming from Ulster, Ireland (mostly English and Scottish people), and those who had come from other parts of Europe such as Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium and others. Not to be outdone however is the in-depth study of multiple European tribes.

Richly-layered and filled with astonishing detail, Our British Heritage - Volume III explains why so many of the descendants of the Jennings family appear to be so eccentric, haughty, feisty and independent in their temperament.
