BACHRACH Joins Team of Racing For Kids(R) Sponsors

DETROIT, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 17, 2007 -- Racing For Kids® announced today that leading men's clothier BACHRACH is joining the ranks as a sponsor of the Detroit-based international children's charity. BACHRACH, which is known for its European influenced menswear and quality standards, operates 40 retail stores in major metropolitan markets in fourteen states as well as a nationally distributed catalog and e-commerce business.

"We are so pleased to have BACHRACH as a part of the Racing For Kids family," said Dr. William W. Pinsky, Racing For Kids founder and president. "Their generous support will help us further our mission to brighten the day for thousands of hospitalized children our celebrity race drivers will visit this year. These visits are a very important part of each child's recovery therapy because they take the child's mind away from his or her illness to focus on the excitement of meeting a racecar driver and hearing about the sport. We are very grateful for BACHRACH's support."

"BACHRACH is honored to be a sponsor of Racing For Kids," said Brian Lipman, CEO of BACHRACH. "Our company was started in 1877 and, in many ways, has grown up with America. We believe children are our country's greatest assets and anything we can do to help them grow up strong and healthy is important to us."

As part of their sponsorship, BACHRACH will provide the popular Racing For Kids baseball-style hats, which are given to each youngster at the twenty-four children's hospitals visited each year.

Additionally, BACHRACH is designing a special Racing For Kids line of clothing and accessories, which will be sold in select BACHRACH stores, with all net proceeds going to the charity.

During the events surrounding the Indianapolis 500, BACHRACH will be hosting special activities at their store in the Mall at Keystone Crossing in Indianapolis. On Thursday, May 24, IndyCar® Series racers Buddy Rice and Sarah Fisher, who are part of the Racing For Kids team of celebrity racecar drivers, will be on hand between 6 and 7 p.m. to meet BACHRACH customers and sign autographs.

In addition, there will be a special Racing For Kids showcar on display in the store and BACHRACH will donate 10% of all merchandise sales in the Keystone store that day to Racing For Kids.

About BACHRACH:

In 1877, Henry Bachrach opened his first store in Decatur, Illinois, with a goal to provide quality clothes at reasonable prices, and served the men who were settling and developing the Midwest. Over the years, BACHRACH has grown up with America and has continued to adapt their business to the changing social landscape. Today BACHRACH is owned by a group of private investors headed by Brian Lipman. BACHRACH's distribution and customer service operations remain in Decatur, Illinois, while the corporate headquarters is located in the heart of the garment district in New York City. BACHRACH operates more than 40 stores in major metropolitan markets in fourteen states as well as a nationally distributed catalog and e-commerce business.

The BACHRACH brand is a menswear experience based upon a European fashion aesthetic, superior customer service and an emphasis on lasting customer relations. The BACHRACH man is known for looking strong, confident, urbane and sharp. The company prides itself on its BACHRACH Spirit -- a spirit of friendliness, energetic service and handsome, innovative styles that are the hallmark of the brand.

BACHRACH is in the process of transforming their business and the way men dress into a powerful source of self-expression. Transformation is the reason we have decided to join Dr. Pinsky and the Racing For Kids Charity as well because of how we can assist in helping to address children's healthcare and how it impacts their lives.

About Racing For Kids:

Founded in Detroit in 1989, Racing For Kids® uses the popularity of motorsports to focus public attention and funding on the health care needs of children.

The heart of the program is the hospital visits that Racing For Kids racers make to sick children in cities where they race. During these visits, the drivers meet with children individually, talk about their passion for racing, pass out hats and coloring books and pose for pictures.

Racing For Kids representatives have visited more than 15,000 young patients in more than 350 hospitals in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and Australia. In addition, nearly $5 million has been raised through donations and specific fund raising events for children's hospitals across the country.
