Sports and Fitness for Kids on Penn's Landing


PHILADELPHIA, June 26, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Children are invited to the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing (Columbus Boulevard and Chestnut Street) to learn about health and fitness. In this day and age, parents are busy combating so many unhealthy forces that keep their children inactive and restless including hours playing video games, television, high calorie fast foods, and sweets of all kinds. What can parents do to get their kids interested in staying fit....organized sports and that is the theme of Kids' Day 2007.

The day wouldn't be complete without a mix of arts and crafts, games and storytelling that will make this day totally about kids.
