BOISE, Idaho, July 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- American Ecology Corporation (Nasdaq:ECOL) today announced that stockholders of record on July 13, 2007 will receive a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per common share, payable on July 20, 2007.
At March 31, 2007, the Company reported 18.2 million shares outstanding and $11.5 million in cash and short-term investments on hand. The Company estimates that approximately $2.7 million in cash will be paid out for the declared quarterly dividend.
