HUNTSVILLE, Ala., July 11, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Wolverine Tube, Inc. (OTCBB:WLVT), today announced that it filed its amended Form 10-K for the years ended December 31, 2006, 2005, and 2004. The Amendment reflects the previously announced restatement to the historical classification of certain restricted cash balances in the Company's balance sheets and cash flow statements, in which $6.0 million and $6.6 million of cash has been separately classified as restricted cash as of December 31, 2006 and 2005, respectively. Additionally, the period-to-period changes in restricted cash are reported in cash provided by (used for) investing activities, separately classifying $6.6 million of restricted cash and changing amounts previously reported as cash flows provided by (used for) investing activities.
