NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I., July 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Hexagon Metrology has announced that it has opened a new 8,000 square foot precision center in Irving, Texas, serving its customers and supporting distribution channels in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. The product lines include Brown & Sharpe, DEA, Leitz, Leica Geoystems, ROMER, PC-DMIS, Sheffield, and TESA. The new state-of-the-art facility, with over 8,000 square feet of space, will serve the four-state area as a regional demonstration, training, and service center. The center, which is presently staffed and open for business, will have a grand opening celebration on August 15th, from 9:00 to 4:30, with demonstrations, tours and a BBQ lunch.
