HOUSTON, July 26, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- AMERCO Real Estate announced today that it has expanded the U-Haul network of self-storage locations with the purchase of Greenspoint Self-Storage located in Houston, Texas. Greenspoint Self-Storage, located at 11911 North Freeway, boasts 613 storage units, 311 of which are climate controlled, with more than 71,000 square feet of storage.

The new self-storage facilities feature 24-hour security, video surveillance, your lock/your key, no deposit, a convenient credit-card payment plan and available low-cost Safestor insurance to protect possessions.
Each storage facility will also feature a wide variety of environmentally friendly packing supplies, including boxes made out of recyclable materials, 100 percent biodegradable packing peanuts, moving pads which are made from recycled denim, rope, tape and locks. Customers can rent U-Haul moving vans and trailers, as well as utility, appliance and furniture dollies so they can easily load their possessions.
Customers who rent a U-Haul moving van or trailer for a one-way move can receive one month of free storage before or after their move.
