BEVERLY, Mass., July 30, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Envista Corporation, a solutions provider of asset management technology for built infrastructure, today announced the appointment of Jayanta Mukhopadhyay as Vice President of Engineering. Mukhopadhyay will spearhead the development of Envista's enterprise software for strategic and financial management of built infrastructure assets in towns and cities. Envista solutions enable public, private, and government entities to better utilize resources, improve services, and address the needs of aging infrastructure.
Mukhopadhyay has more than 16 years of experience as a veteran director of software development at UGS, Oracle, and Parametric Technology. Prior to joining Envista, he managed Major Accounts Services for UGS, a global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software with 4.3 million licensed seats. He also served as Director of PLM Applications at Oracle, and managed the BOM and MCAD integration management team for Oracle's ERP/E-business suite. Mukhopadhyay also worked for Parametric Technology as Director of Data Management Development and was responsible for design/data modeling of PTC's data management solution.
