Company announcement from Vestas Wind Systems A/S Randers, 6 August 2007 Company announcement No. 31/2007 Vestas receives order for V90-2.0 MW and V90-3.0 MW turbines in Germany Vestas has received an order from GHF/Ventotec GmbH for delivery of 27 units of the V90-2.0 MW turbine and 12 units of the V90-3.0 MW turbine for different projects in the eastern part of Germany. The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the turbines. Delivery of the turbines will begin at the end of 2007, and all projects are expected commissioned by third quarter 2008. “We are proud of GHF/Ventotec's confidence in Vestas and we are very pleased to reaffirm our loyal and long-lasting working relationship,” says Hans Jørn Rieks, President of Vestas Central Europe A/S. GHF/Ventotech GmbH is a German developer located in Leer. The company is the prime contractor for GHF wind power plants in Germany and has been operating in the wind energy sector since 1998. “After having finished the planning of the different projects, we now look very much forward to realizing the projects with Vestas turbines. In the eastern part of Germany alone, GHF/Ventotec GmbH already operates 21 wind power plants with a total installed capacity of more than 500 MW. With these new projects located in Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony, the investment is again made in the New Länder of Germany,” states Helmer Stecker, CEO of GHF/Ventotec GmbH.
